Planning of agriculture development in Brcko district
Brcko district Government initiated the process of creating the Development Strategy of agriculture, food and rural development in Brcko district for 2008.-2013. period. Through tender procedure, AGENORE is engaged for strategy development. Expert team, formed by AGENORE, is consisted of over ten experts from the field of agro economy, farming, fruit growing, cattle rising and economy, and together with local actors they will work on state analysis, definition of goals, priorities and measures for strategic development of agriculture and food in this area. Strategy will have a special emphasise on goals and measures for rural development according to EU rural development policy.
All relevant local institutions and organizations, as well as representatives of agriculture associations, unions, experts and interested citizens will be included in the process of strategy development in order to make strategy became a document with local ownership. Strategy operational plan for next five years with proposal of actions and responsible institutions will be a frame for further work on development of agriculture, food and rural development.
