Presentation of Analysis on situation in agriculture in Tuzla Canton
Ministry of agriculture, forestry and water management of Tuzla Canton awarded creation of Strategy for agriculture development in Tuzla Canton for 2009-2023 period to consortia formed by Agenore, Faculty of Economics from Tuzla and Institute of agricultural economics from Belgrade. After detailed researching process of situation in sector of agriculture, engaged team of experts created draft document of Analysis on situation in agriculture, food industry and rural development in Tuzla Canton. In the process of situation analysis, implementators included a team of local researchers in order to get information about real problems that farmers are faced with. Local researchers made interviews with many actors from all municipalities in Tuzla Canton, and its suggestions are included in this document.
In order to give an opportunity to all beneficiaries from 13 municipalities form Tuzla Canton to give their final suggestions on draft document of Analysis on situation in agriculture in Tuzla Canton, implementators in collaboration with Ministry of agriculture, forestry and water management of Tuzla Canton organize a debate about mentioned document. The debate will be held on May 20th 2008 in hole of TK Assembly, Bosnian Cultural Center building in Tuzla).
We invite all interested actors to take part in the debate and give their contribution to quality finalization of Analysis on situation in agriculture in Tuzla Canton. This will be the base for further definition of goals, priorities and measures for development of this sector in Tuzla Canton.
